Sex, intimacy and communication help for married and long-term couples
Most people know something isn’t working. In the relationship, in the bedroom, or just in the way they talk to each other.
Most couples avoid these conversations because they’re uncomfortable, or because it never occurred to them that they have to talk about what they like, what’s not working, and how to reconnect.
I work virtually with couples wherever you are. Sometimes with just one of you, because one person is usually ready first.

Help for couples who feel disconnected
Maybe you’ve stopped reaching for each other. Maybe the sex has slowed down or stopped, and every time one of you tries to bring it up it turns into a fight or a shrug.
Or maybe everything else feels fine and it’s only the physical side that’s off. That’s usually where it shows up first. It’s rarely where it started.
I work with married and long-term couples on communication, connection, physical intimacy and sex. You don’t need the right words before you call. Finding them is the work.
Can I come without my partner?
Yes. There are two people in every relationship, and one of them is usually ready for change before the other. Sometimes it’s the man who reaches out first, and sometimes it’s the woman. Either way, starting on your own is a fine place to begin.
What does a Marriage and Intimacy Facilitator do?
As a Marriage/Intimacy Facilitator, I create the conditions for the real and often difficult conversations to happen. The ones that are hard to start, or that you have been avoiding.
It might be advice or it might be homework.
I open the door and guide you through. You come away talking more easily and feeling closer because of it.
How the free consultation works
It’s a 15-minute phone call. It’s an opportunity to learn a little more about why you’re reaching out, give you information about how I work, and see if we’re the right fit for each other. No pressure to book anything after.

Hello, I’m Laira. Nice to meet you.
If you’re new here, you probably found me through a post that felt a little too familiar. The conversation you keep putting off. The distance that crept in without either of you deciding it would.
I work with married and long-term couples virtually, wherever you are. Sometimes with just one of you, because one person is usually ready before the other.

Ron’s back. Question time with the hubby, he’s such a good sport! Always trying to have a little fun. Share with your partner and see if they’re up for some question time. #relationships #havingfun
When I first met them, she was out. Done. And honestly, I didn’t know if I was gonna be able to reach her.
They don’t see me anymore. Which is exactly how it should be. They’re living their best life in a marriage they weren’t even in at the beginning.
Do you think someone can come back from done?
if you’re ready to talk about it, I’m right here.
Communication isn’t the key. Knowing why you’re opening your mouth is. Two people can communicate consistently and still miss each other completely. What changes things isn’t talking more, it’s checking in with yourself before you open your mouth. Are you trying to be heard or just to unload?
Which one of these do you skip when you’re mid-argument?
You know where to find me.

Through thick and thin, no matter how hard it is, we have each other and we have our family. It’s not about the conflict, the fights or the hard times. It’s about how we get up, dust ourself off and stick together and make it work. Are there relationships in your life you would never give up on?

My last video about what men are still hoping for hit over for 140,000 of you, and the comments broke my heart a little.
This one’s for her side of it
For you: does the emotional closeness get you to wanting physical intimacy or does the physical closeness usually get you there first?
This is the kind of thing that gets easier to talk about with someone else in the room.
He’s not going to text you this list. He’s going to keep asking about your day and opening the fridge and hope you notice anyway.
None of this is really about sex, even when it sounds like it. It’s about being wanted. Reached for, not just next to. Still worth being curious about.
Curious how many of these surprised you, if any did.
You’d be surprised to know how many men desire this kind of simple attention.Add a heart to the comments when you have sent it. Let’s bring some smiles to people‘s faces.

Me and partner started working with Laira for a few months now and already she has been such a big help and has made a tremendous difference in our relationship in the best ways possible with the amazing work she does. This was our first time seeking therapy so inevitably we were hesitant at first and wasn’t sure how to navigate the whole process. From when we first met with Laira and through each one of our sessions, she has been welcoming, professional, patient, kind and made the experience super comfortable for us. She’s very knowledgeable in her field and we can tell that she takes pride in her work and truly loves what she does. We would highly recommend her to anyone looking to improve their communication, maintain a healthy relationship or re-discovering that special spark in their love life. Whether you’re single, in a relationship or married she will set you up with the right tools for success! We truly can’t thank her enough for being such a light in our life and for the support she’s given us in a time where we felt most lost. -KZPosted on Google![]()

I recently started working with Laira Thomas, after coming to a crossroads with my choices in dating. The moment we began talking, I felt a sense of warmth and comfort that immediately put me at ease to delve into some sensitive topics. Laira has helped me navigate the intricate realms of intimacy and relationships but also tapped into some broader areas that are associated with that. She is an exceptionally compassionate and empathetic professional who genuinely cares about her clients' well-being. This kind of work can be changeling but Laira creates a safe and non-judgmental space where you can open up and discuss the most sensitive aspects of your life. Laira possesses a thorough understanding of the complexities of human connections and offers valuable insights that are both enlightening and transformative. She has helped me gain a deeper understanding of myself and the relationships in my life. I always enjoy our sessions and the new perspectives I walk away with and take into my daily life. I wholeheartedly recommend Laira Thomas. I am incredibly grateful for the positive changes she has brought into my life!Posted on Google![]()
